"Dancing with pianoforte sounds”" - from"Plié to Grand jeté" (part 1) Ballet accompaniments with keyboard music from the “Classisism” and “Early Romance”period This recording provides training materials with piano accompaniment useful in teaching classical ballet. This is suitable for teaching various positions and postures, both for the dance technique to the "barre” and "au milieu", such as: "Barre" - plié, relevé (or demi pointe), battement tendu (front - side - rear), battement tendu jeté (front - side - rear), around the jambe à terre (en dehors - en dedans), battement fondu, relevé lent, développé, grand battement, grand spread, cou de pied, passé, levé du pied, pas de bourrée, glissade, ramassé, cambré. "Milieu" - port de bras, temps levé, échappé, changements de pieds, assemblé, sissonne simple, pas de valse, polka, révérence. The music on this CD is clearly recognizable in terms of tonality, rhythm, character, shape and beat structure (8, 8 + 8, 8 .....). Certain pieces lend themselves for learning more than one position or dance step. Each piece is preceded by a short "préparation". The played repertory can also be used for e.g., examination exercises, ballet performances…. The whole is played on a digital keyboard with the latest sound samples from a "Broadwood" pianoforte of around 1817.
