Alex CHRISTIAENS: Burning History. As part of the Kulturama 2008 activities in Leuven, Alex Christiaens composed a work for the SLAC exhibition in situ #2 BIBC. Pascal Lefèvre wrote the libretto for this, based on the most traumatic page in the history of the university library: the fire during the German occupation of Leuven in May 1940.

Work for mezzo-soprano, baritone, flute, cello, piano and trombone.
